Nicolette is a theatre director, published writer, dramaturg, TEDx Speaker and producer, with a special focus on the work of the award-winning Italian writer, Dacia Maraini. She trained as an actress at the Drama Centre, London and played leading roles in mainstream companies and small scale feminist companies She formed Muzikansky and New Shoes Theatre companies. Nicolette's Sydney production of HURRIED STEPS by Dacia Maraini, Translated by Sharon Wood is featured in two Italian books; CURIOSA DI MESTIERE SAGGI SU Dacia Maraini and ATTI DI ACCUSA (2021). The latter is now published in English by Methuen/Bloomsbury in STAGING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS.
